Women

Being a woman today can be a real challenge. How can we work, raise our families, volunteer in the church and community, and make time for ourselves and our gal pals - when there are so many things pulling us in different directions? Being a woman who follows Jesus has never been more important, and perhaps never been more difficult. Because of that, we think it's best that we try and fight together to be the best women we can be. The women's ministry at HILLCITY is about all that and more. We offer opportunities for ladies to talk, bond over a craft, glass of wine or a good book, study and pray together, or even watch a good romantic comedy together while connecting about the struggles of motherhood or marriage :) Sometimes we just need to be with women who get us, and who can empathize and listen while we unload. We get that, and we're all about it. We've got monthly groups, mentoring opportunities, and special events throughout the year to help us connect. Each month the ladies of HILLCITY meet to listen to one another's stories and talk through a topic that is pressing on our hearts. We value authenticity, vulnerability and love to laugh together! Each month is a new topic, new testimony or new story so even if you've never been, we'd love to see you at our net meeting! Oh--and we almost always have popcorn and a yummy beverage on hand!

Ladies, we love to chat don't we?!?!  About the things that only another girl could understand. Struggles that only another woman would have also faced or be able to help us through. Theres's also value in hearing from a lady in the next stage of life, who's been where you're going, and faced what you're facing. Growing TOGETHER is always better than trying to go it alone. In that vein, we've created a program for the women of HILLCITY to connect over things like being a mom, wife, friend, and daughter of God. Each gal is paired with a mentor or mentee in a small group predicated on relational and spiritual growth. Groups meet once or twice a month to talk, pray, share a laugh, and share in their struggles. We think these kind of relationships are FOUNDATIONAL to becoming the women that Jesus calls us to be. We'd love to have you join us in becoming the women who impact our families, church, and communities.
